STEM in the 4/5/6/7 Class
This term in STEM we have been having student-led STEM lessons.
We got in to groups of 2-4 and went through the lessons and chose one. Then we had to get the worksheets ready and create a list of materials for Miss Powell. Some groups made PowerPoint and others had a script for their lesson. A lot of groups used a learning intention and a success criteria. Every week we have a different student-led lesson.
Some of the lessons have been:
- Build a car
- Build a bottle car
- Build an egg car
- Make an egg drop
- Make an egg parachute
- Chromatography
We also get assessed on how well we did teaching the lesson.
